The Mariners

So for our wedding Mikey and I exchanged gifts. We must think alike because we both got tickets for each other. He got me tickets to "So You Think You Can Dance" for November (I'm so excited for that!) and I got him tickets to a Mariner game. The only problem was that I bid for them and unfortunately I didn't get them in time for the wedding so we got them awhile after we got hitched. Luckily it is the thought that counts...right?
Well we went to the game up in Seattle and had such a good time. The Mariners played the Yankees. They had beat them the night before so we were hoping for another win but unfortunately they got killed. We still enjoyed the game, although I think the yummy food had a lot to do with that.

I do want to mention (because I'm so stinking proud of myself) that I eventually pulled off a surprise for Mikey on our 1 month mark. Here's the story. We were both bummed because we didn't really get to enjoy our cake the day we got married. As most people know it just gets too chaotic. Well I found out that the bakery where we got ours does mini versions of wedding cakes so I took advantage of it and got one. It was so good. Here's a picture.
